- JEDDAH: Atelier Jeddah opened on Wednesday a personal exhibition of Saudi artist Othman Al-Kuzaim here.
The exhibition, held under the aegis of Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), will last for ten days. Sixty works of Al-Kuzaim are on display.
The Ministry of Information in cooperation with Disabled Children Association (DCA) organizes the exhibition.
Prince Sultan, chairman of DCA’s board of directors, said: “Al-Kuzaim is a distinguished figure in the Kingdom’s art movement,” and added, “his art reflects his strong association with environment, and his society and we welcome his initiative of donating the income of his works to charity for the disabled children.”
The prince said, “The initiative sends an important message that art is always for society, hence we call on people interested in art to look at Al-Kuzaim’s creative works.”
The prince visited the National Built Heritage Forum exhibition at Red Sea Mall and met children at their exhibition corner.
