Alnowaiser thanked all his predecessors for their great efforts and achievements during the past years. He also thanked the members for this great honor and their confidence in him, indicating that these times required every member’s contribution to achieve all the aspirations of the Saudi business community through membership in the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris. The ICC is a leading economic and international organization, and Alnowaiser’s selection will reflect positively on the Saudi affiliate and promote issues of concern to Saudi businesses.

The ICC was established in 1919 as a nongovernmental organization seeking to serve the business sector through boosting international trade and the investment movement and facilitating the access of goods and services to global markets.

The ICC also plays a major role in promoting and raising the living standards of the people of all nations by providing job opportunities and by ensuring the smooth flow of capital and human resources.

The international organization enjoys a high-level association with the World Trade Organization. It is considered an important partner of the United Nations as well as the right hand of the International Monetary Fund.

In 1975, the ICC Saudi Arabia was established to represent the interests of the Saudi economy before the ICC in Paris and at all other international and regional events. The chamber carries out its activities under the supervision of the Council of Saudi Chambers.
