"We have introduced the new finance service in response to customer demand," said Marwan Salamah, manager of personal finance at the bank.

"This campaign is open to all groups of society including civilians and military officers as well as government, private employees, retired staff and expatriates," Salamah said.

The bank takes a profit, beginning from 1 percent, in lieu of this financial service, the manager said, adding that the bank's Shariah committee has endorsed the new loan campaign.
