- JEDDAH: The case of the four Chadian students, who allegedly attacked a Saudi classmate at the 28th Secondary School for Girls in Al-Jamea district, was transferred to the Prosecution and Investigation Committee (PIC), Al-Madinah daily reported on Tuesday.
The students are believed to have attacked Zikra Al-Misawi,17, hitting her with a stick and pouring water over her, in a campus brawl one week ago. The victim also accused the four of threatening to deform her face with a shaving knife. Director of Educational Media at the Department of Education, Abdul Majeed Al-Ghamdi, said his department had not received any complaint related to this case.
Laila Al-Misawi, the victim’s paternal aunt, said her nieces still refused to go to school. She was worried there would be no new developments in the case at the Jeddah police center, although they received threatening messages on Zikra’s phone. Al-Misawi said the head mistress of the school told the mother of the victim that she doesn’t want those girls in her school and the mother should transfer them to some other school.
