- JEDDAH: A Royal Saudi Air Force jet had crashed in the northwestern region of Tabuk, state news agency SPA reported on Tuesday.
The Hawk aircraft was on a training mission in the Tabuk area when it collided with a bird, said the report, citing an unnamed official of the Ministry of Defense.
The collision led to a malfunction in one of the jet's engines. The pilot managed to eject safely, the source told SPA.
