"We have to look into all charges made against them before taking a decision on release," the judge said. The seven included an academic who is accused of showing disrespect to Saudi leaders and trying to cause chaos and confusion in the country.

The academic requested the judge to release him citing sickness of his mother and son. "I request you to release me for some days," he pleaded at the court in the presence of his brother and two sons.

Another bench of the court heard the replies of four militants belonged to the 85-member Dandani terror cell accused of bombing three residential compounds in Riyadh. Defendant No. 18 requested the court to release him on bail. He also requested the judge to help him get married and the judge replied positively.

The court also continued its hearing of suspects belonged to a 41-member cell. It heard the replies of Defendants No. 21, 31, 34, 35 and 36. Defendant No. 21 ratified the charges made against him by the prosecutor and said he attacked the prison officer when he delayed the visit of his father.
