“Our bilateral trade exchange made substantial growth during 2005-2008 to reach SR18.8 billion. I believe Saudi Arabia and Turkey have huge potentials to increase this two-way trade to higher levels,” said Commerce and Industry Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah while addressing the Saudi-Turkish Joint Commission.

Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, who led Turkey’s delegation to the meeting, welcomed Al-Rabiah’s proposal and said exchange of visits and holding of trade shows would contribute to further enhancing commercial relations between the two Muslim countries.
