- Emirates has announced the appointment of Saeed Abdulla Al-Janahi as the new district manager for Riyadh.
Saeed Al-Janahi, a UAE national, took on the role recently and is currently stationed in Riyadh.
As district manager, he will be responsible for overseeing Emirates' operations in Riyadh, further developing the company's operations within this key location.
"Saeed is an integral part of Emirates' prominent success and a key asset to us. I am confident that his experience in other regional markets including Iran and most recently Syria will hold him in good stead, steering Emirates' operations in Riyadh into the future." said Adil Al-Gaith, Emirates vice president, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Janahi began his career with Emirates in 2002 as a management trainee.
During his career, he has worked as both airport manager and acting area manager for Kuwait as well as area manager in Sudan and most recently country manager in Syria.
Commenting on his recent appointment, Al-Janahi said, "I look forward to my new role in Riyadh, a market that is constantly evolving. I will remain committed to looking at new ways of developing our operations there and I hope to contribute in expanding Emirates' presence in Riyadh."
