- RIYADH: Chairman of the Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation Prince Alwaleed bin Talal received Mauritanian Ambassador Mohamed Ould Mohamed Ould Abah and Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Saud Aljabri at his Riyadh office where he announced a $500,000 for the drought-hit African country.
The money will go to support the UN World Food Program (WFP) to assist just over a quarter of the country’s population affected by drought.
The envoy thanked Prince Alwaleed for his donation. The Foundation was the first to respond to the WFP’s emergency operation.
