- RIYADH: Radisson Blu hotels in Saudi Arabia have been ranked as the best hotels offering the whole range of services that make the stay of guests comfortable, convenient and luxurious at any point of time.
- On the top of that, the world-class restaurants in Radisson Blu hotels across the Kingdom including Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Yanbu are "now favorite dining destinations offering real value for the money," said Mohamed Benamar, general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel and district director for the Radisson Group here.
"In Riyadh, Olivio's Restaurant is a favorite spot for diners," said Benamar. Situated on the fourth floor of the hotel and overlooking stunning views of the fountain, Olivio’s offers guests fine Italian cuisine and Mediterranean specialties, he added. Sumptuous dishes garnished with aromatic herbs, olive oil and garlic, served in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere make this restaurant in Riyadh ideal for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or colleagues, said Benamar.
He called on the guest to visit Olivio's for "a unique dining experience." He pointed out that Radisson Blu hotels are mostly iconic buildings with individual interiors invoking an inviting, exciting ambiance and offering "the best" in guest care, dining and stay. Radisson Blu flagship properties can be found in prime locations, including major cities, airport gateways and leisure destinations around the world including the Kingdom, said Benamar.
Radisson Blu, which has a hotel in Riyadh, is a first class full-service hotel brand with key differentiators such as the 100 percent "Guest Satisfaction Guarantee." Carlson, a privately held, global hospitality and travel company, based in Minneapolis (US), is the majority shareholder of The Rezidor Hotel Group, which operates Radisson. Together, Carlson and Rezidor have hotels in more than 90 different countries, 1,070 hotels in operation and 240 hotels under development.
A statement released by the Radisson Blu said that Khobar Park Inn hotel is another prime property in Saudi Arabia. Park Inn is a fresh and energetic mid-market hotel brand offering friendly and welcoming hospitality at a competitive price. "We focus on what really matters, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms, service with a smile and a hassle-free experience," said the statement.
Referring to the awards bagged by the brand hotels under Rezidor Group, the statement said that Park Inn was ranked highest in guest satisfaction among mid-scale full-service hotels in the proprietary J.D. Power and Associates 2009 European Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study. The study results were based on responses from European guests who stayed at a hotel in Europe between May 2009 and September 2009, measuring 17 hotel chains.
Meanwhile, the Rezidor Hotel Group has ranked as one of the fastest growing hotel companies in the world. While the legal status and ownership structure of Carlson and Rezidor remain the same, the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will pursue the global alignment and management of its brands, the ambitious development of its revenue generation engines, global purchasing opportunities, and people development, on a global basis. Commercial activities will be conducted under the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group name, irrespective of geographies.
Carlson and Rezidor have a long common history and have grown together over the past 17 years. Through a number of concrete revenue generation initiatives, the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group aims to generate more than $400 million in additional revenue.
