The forum will bring together more than 100 corporate social responsibility representatives from major organizations of both private and public sectors in the Kingdom.

This is the first of its kind forum to be held in the Kingdom, and its main objective is to establish an ongoing communication platform, and exchange experiences and idea.

During the forum activities, participants will discuss several discussion papers provided by local and international consulting agencies, which concerns major challenges confronting corporate social responsibility organizations in Saudi Arabia.

In addition, the necessity of ongoing corporate social responsibility programs and their role in supporting society needs will be a major topic to debate in this forum. Participants will also have the chance to get involved in several interactive workshops during the forum.

“The initiative of Saudi Aramco to host and organize the forum for social responsibility is an extension of Saudi Aramco’s commitment to build strategic partnership with all government and private agencies and charities through the exchange of views and experiences in order to establish a common governing framework in this vital area” said Nasser Al-Nafisi, general manager, Public Affairs at Saudi Aramco.

“I also like to stress that the forum will be an opportunity to create a partnership for cooperation interface between the parties participating in this vital area,” he added.

A number of major key players in the corporate social responsibility sector in Saudi Arabia will participate in the forum, including SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corp.), Savola, National Commercial Bank, Zain Saudi Arabia, Microsoft Middle East, Procter and Gamble Saudi Arabia, and ALJ’s Bab Rizq, and a number of charity organizations in the Kingdom.
