- Sulaiman AlHabib's Group won an award for the development of human resources during the Arab Health Exhibition that took place in the UAE from Jan.
The group beat off competition from around 3,000 medical companies. More than 71,000 health specialists also attended. The award was presented by the president of the organizing body, and the event attended by many hospitals and medical center administrators and doctors.
The group’s vice chairman, Abdul Rahman Aleid, said this award reflects how advanced and how far the group has come during the last 17 years since 1995.
The group provides its medical services on a daily basis in its various hospitals and medical centers, which needs a huge and efficient workforce that requires constant training to better deal with patients' needs, he added.
Aleid said the group has more than 7,000 employees on its rolls from doctors to administrators and technicians. A thousand of them are highly qualified medical staff from around the world, while 60 percent of them hold the highest qualifications from the most reputable universities in the world.
These medical and administrative employees have been recruited through the hard work of an HR team that consists of 50 experts of different nationalities in the field who have managed to create a large recruitment network from 70 countries around the world.
