A press release said 300 beds will be added in the second phase and six specialized centers are also planned at the same location.

A center to train health care professionals to enlighten them on the latest global developments in the field of primary health care will also be set up.

The announcement came as the Saudi German Hospital recently took part in the activities of the Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai.

The participation promoted exchange of experiences and facilitated a review of all developments in Arab medical care as the group prepares for the opening of the Saudi German Hospital in Dubai.

In a significant development, the Arab Health exhibition chose the Saudi German Hospital’s vascular surgery department as one of the top three sections in the Middle East.

The Saudi German Hospitals Group is considered the largest collections of private medical care in the Middle East and North Africa.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Sobhi Batterjee, chairman and CEO of Saudi German Hospitals Group, took part in the work of pioneers of Arab Health committee, which hosted a group of experts.

The debate hosted Sohail Mahmood Al-Ansari, executive director of Mubadala Healthcare (UAE), Jeff Staples, CEO of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (UAE), Qasim Ardati, CEO of Bahrain Specialist Hospital (Bahrain), Dr. Mahmoud Sarhan, general director and CEO of the King Hussein Cancer Center (Jordan), Mark Harrison, CEO of Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

Sobhi Batterjee said: “During our participation in Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai, we met with some of the pioneers of the health care sector in the Arab world.”
