“Children of the Republic,” a special program organized by the middle section of the school, was the main attraction. Hundreds of students from various Indian states stood shoulder to shoulder and formed Indian political map.

The program envisaged the characteristic ideal of Indian social entity, ‘Unity in Diversity’. It also stressed the need of national integration and communal harmony.

Another highlight of the celebrations was the 'Indian National Anthem’ competition. As the anthem penned by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore marks its centenary this year, various groups of children participated in the program paying tributes to Indian Republic and to the great poet.

Patriotic songs and speeches were also presented. School Principal K.C. Shaijal delivered the Republic Day message. School chairman T.P. Ali Kunhi Moulavi gave the keynote address. Director Luqman Pazhur and Sameer (Strong Light) presented merit certificates and trophies to the winners respectively.

School Academic Coordinator Reni Thomas along with Muhammed Ali, Abdul Azeez Perla, Unais K.S conducted the program.
