- RIYADH: The Insaf Social Society in Riyadh held a function on the occasion of the birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan, birthday.
- Jinnah’s birthday falls on Dec.
Members of the Pakistani community living in Riyadh attended the function. Children presented national songs and skits.
Muhammad Kashif from Insaf Society presented a documentary about Pakistan, past, present and future.
President of Tahreek Insaf, Sind Dr. Aref Alwi, made a telephonic speech in which he said that all overseas Pakistanis are ambassadors for their country.
He also spoke about his party's future plans to build a strong nation in accordance with Jinnah's and Alamah Iqbal's wishes.
Later a documentary about Jinnah was screened.
Pakistan's Writers Club’s Choudary Rahmat Ali said that it is important that all Pakistanis are united in these difficult times and follow the steps of Jinnah, who always motivated people to work hard for their country.”
At the end of celebrations gifts were distributed to participants.
