He discussed the current situation in Pakistan, upcoming budget and other issues. “This time the budget will be presented in May and will be discussed in May and June. This budget will provide relief to the people and hopefully will be a good budget for Pakistanis and the nation,” he said.

On the issue of participation of overseas Pakistanis in elections, he requested the community to give advice and proposals to the government; and said that he will talk to the election commission on the issue.

He also said that he had requested the Pakistani ambassador and consul general to increase the mission’s teams tours and give priority to the problems of Pakistani expatriates and solve their issues.

On the current situation of Pakistan, he explained, that the government has effected changes and developments in Pakistan, which are historical.

“We created the culture of tolerance, took care of the internal security of Pakistan and did a lot of work for those parts of the country where the government couldn’t interfere previously. We opened dialogue, replaced the military with civil law enforcement, gave northern areas self rule for empowerment, also in FATA political parties act was extended and we are answerable in front of Parliament,” he said.

Awan further said that on March 2, senate elections will take place and he is confident that after this election the democracy system will be established.

On the relationship of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia he said, Pakistan has a brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia, having mutual interest from religious to world politics.
