- RIYADH: Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG) said its net profit rose by 18.8 percent to SR100.3 million last year from SR84.4 million in 2010.
Earnings per share rose to SR1.3 from SR1.1 for 2010.
Gross profit rose 5.5 percent to SR353.7 million from SR335.4 million for the previous year, according to a statement.
It said income from main operations rose to SR105.1 million from SR100.5 million during the previous year, representing an increase of 4.6 percent.
The statement attributed the profit growth to the following factors:
• Advertising revenue grew by 5.6 percent from last year.
• Education revenues rose by 39.1 percent from last year.
• Additionally, the profit increase achieved during the fourth quarter includes capital gains from the sale of the group’s share in Integral investment, which amounted to SR13.5 million.
