The lunch was attended by Prince Salman bin Nawaf, Kuwait’s ambassador, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the United Kingdom Khaled Al-Duwaisan and other ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The discussions during the lunch highlighted the participation of the Ministry of Water and Electricity in the exhibition “Hajj: Journey to the Heart of Islam,” currently being held at the British Museum in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Public Library.

Prince Mohammad and the minister also discussed the steps and efforts of the government through the library to stage an exhibition that offered the opportunity to tell the story of Islam, a religion that is tolerant and peaceful.

Following the lunch, Prince Mohammad and Al-Hussain visited the exhibition.

Al-Hussain told Arab News: “This exhibition is a leading idea to highlight the holy rituals and the fifth pillar of Islam. The exhibition also demonstrates the efforts achieved by the government to facilitate the pilgrimage. The greatest proof of the exhibition’s success was demonstrated by the heavy influx of visitors at the very last hour of the exhibition.”
