The Capital Market Authority (CMA) yesterday allowed Almarai dairy company to increase its capital from SR 4 billion to SR 6 billion by giving one free share to each two shares of shareholders registered on the day of its extraordinary general assembly meeting.
According to a statement published on the CMA website, it has been agreed to increase the company’s capital by transferring SR 2 billion from its profit. The new move will increase the company’s shares from 400 million to 600 million. The company will announce the date for the general assembly meeting shortly.
