GFH Financial Group has announced its results for the first six months of 2019 ending June 30. 

For this period, the group reported a 21.9 percent increase in revenues, which reached $163.5 million compared with $134.1 million in the first half of 2018. For the second quarter of 2019, revenues rose 34.4 percent to $92.9 million versus $69.1 million in the second quarter of 2018. Excluding the one-off recovery income and restructuring income in the first half of 2018, the total income of the group for the first half of 2019 grew by 114.3 percent compared to the comparative period.

The net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2019 was $49.1 million compared with $72.5 million in the prior-year period, a decrease of 32.3 percent. However, excluding the one-off recovery income and restructuring income in the first half of 2018, the net profit attributable to shareholders grew by 234 percent in the first half of 2019 compared to the first half of 2018.
