Careem, a provider of smart transport services, and Abeer Medical Group, a health care provider in the GCC, have come together for a mutually beneficial partnership.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Iyad Aldalouj, general manager of Careem in the Eastern Region, and Saeed Abdullah Al-Amri, head of administration Central Region at Abeer Medical Group. Under the agreement, Careem will provide the cost of medical care to its Captains (Careem drivers) in the 17 hospitals and centers of Abeer Medical Group across the Kingdom.

Aldalouj said the partnership “helps to provide health services of great importance to Careem Captains.” 

Dr. Shinoop Raj, regional head Riyadh and Dammam, Abeer Medical Group, said: “Abeer is entering its 20th year of existence in the Kingdom and we are focused on delivering affordable and reliable health care services to all.”

Careem was launched in 2012. Over the past six years, the company has grown by over 30 percent per month and is currently present in more than 50 cities in Saudi Arabia.
