Al-Azem and Al-Sudairy CPA’s & Consultants, member of Crowe Horwath International, have orgnaized key seminars on the recently-implemented value added tax (VAT) in the Kingdom.
The seminars highlighted important features of VAT, including it concept, regulations, provisions, penalties and fines, in accordance with the laws prepared by the General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT).
The events where held in the presence of selected professionals, consultants and company owners.
VAT has a great economic impact in terms of price control and assists the business sector in governing their business and control the records of their facilities.
Speaking at one of the sessions, Saad Al-Azem said: “Legal accounting offices are one of the important elements that benefit the organizations in controlling their work. We believe in the role of these offices, therefore, we initiated these seminars to benefit the business sector by helping them understand the laws and regulations related to VAT for their effective role in moving the wheel of growth reaching the aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030.”
