Alawwal bank has partnered with The Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation (SCHF) to promote a healthier society through sports for men and women of all ages.
The partnership in line with the Vision 2030 goal to increase exercise.
As part of the collaboration, a donation by Alawwal bank was provided to sponsor future climbing and hiking initiatives and events for the Saudi public. The partnership also includes staff activities to promote employee wellbeing and team building.
Soren Nikolajsen, managing director of Alawwal bank, said: “As a major corporation, we want to put our resources to good use and do our bit to enhance the well-being of the communities we serve Kingdom-wide. To do that, we wanted to support activities that everyone across the Kingdom could get involved in, and that’s exactly what hiking and climbing offer.”

Their support will greatly aid our efforts to bring hiking and climbing to a wider audience. We are blessed with numerous areas of spectacular natural beauty in the Kingdom, and we will do all we can to help people have fun experiencing them through outdoor sports such as hiking and climbing.”
