Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the internationally acclaimed retail and entertainment extravaganza, is underway and will run until Feb. 1. As part of the festival’s activities, Mercato Shopping Mall is hosting an Italian carnival and offering visitors attractive shopping deals and daily cash prizes.
“Visit Mercato to shop, toss and win! Spend 200 dirhams ($54) in any shop or outlet at Mercato or Town Center Jumeirah until Feb. 1; toss a coin into our fountain for a chance to win 25,000 dirhams and many more daily prizes,” a statement said.
The streets of Mercato have come alive with Italian-themed entertainment and stage shows. Some of the most spectacular shows at Mercato include the Masquerade Ballet, and an Italian comedic opera, which makes people laugh over a series of comedic disasters.
“Don’t miss the fabulous Italian carnival with a unique Italian style, traveling through the streets of Mercato with Venetian masque dancers, live bands, musicians, and dancers,” organizers said.
A Venetian creative workshop for children of all ages engages them in creating Italian masquerades.
