Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser met with the Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth, on Sept. 15, following Saudia’s start of new commercial flights between the Kingdom and Mauritius.

During the meeting, Al-Jasser and Jugnauth discussed economic growth and future opportunities, including the increase of flight frequencies. Saudia currently operates thrice weekly between Riyadh-Jeddah and Mauritius.

Mauritius is the airline’s third new destination this year and is a scheduled year-round service. The new flight to Mauritius is operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, flying direct between the two countries.

Saudia’s route map covers 87 destinations across four continents, flying to Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America daily from its hubs in Jeddah and Riyadh.
