ALJOMAIH Automotive Company (AAC) achieved a major milestone in its digital interaction with the customers by crossing 100,000 likes on its Facebook page. AAC is the largest GM dealer in the Middle East and with the recent milestone has become the ‘most liked’ GM dealer in the Middle East with more fans than any other GM dealership in the region.

AAC's decision to tap into the power of Facebook last year was in line with its commitment to use all new platforms to reach out its customers.

AAC says it has continuously developed its digital platforms in line with consumer requirement to get information online. In a period of one year, AAC developed a user-friendly website, developed presence on interactive social assets like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest. Additionally, it introduces an iPhone App for better interactivity with mobile users and soon will have an android application as well.

According to an industry analyst, Aljomaih’s move to sign up on Facebook gives it better understanding on how to better target certain users and to get messages across in that way instead of being just a social network.

AAC has smartly used this medium with high quality informative and engaging content supported by different interesting competitions from time to time.

On this new achievement, Waleed Aljomaih, COO of AAC, expressed his gratitude to all the fans for supporting and liking the AAC page. He said "Facebook is a great way to build brand persona and awareness through updates, contests, and sharing videos or pictures. At this juncture, Facebook is considered as a place for AAC to showcase not only the cars, but the company’s culture and vision as well. I recommend the practical advantage of this social platform to reach out to more clients and further build up the corporate image."
