- Beaches will reopen for sports such as swimming and surfing
DUBAI: Israel will allow public access to beaches and pools on Sunday as the country gradually eases restrictions that were implemented to prevent the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus.
Beaches will reopen for sports such as swimming and surfing, while public pools will reopen for professional sport and treatment alone, Jerusalem Post reported.
Sport clubs will be permitted to reopen, as well, the report added, but parks and national parks will stay closed for now
Plans are also afoot to reopen Israel Railway, with the first stage expected to be implemented on May 17 where all lines being operations except the line running between Tel Aviv Central Station and Hertzliya.
The implementation, which will allow a train to run directly from Jerusalem through Tel Aviv to Hertzliya, is scheduled to be implemented on June 1, Jerusalem Post said.
