DUBAI: Over three million meals have been distributed among laborers in Abu Dhabi, as part of the country’s program ‘Together We Are Good’, state news agency WAM reported.

Tens of thousands of workers benefited from the initiative which was organized by the Authority of Social Contribution in Abu Dhabi, Ma’an.

“We are proud of the individual donations we’re receiving to the ‘Together We Are Good’ program. Since May 1st to date, more than three million meals have been deployed,” Salama Al-Ameemi, Director-General of Ma’an said.

‘Together We Are Good’ is a government channel that receives contributions from the community to tackle social challenges.

The initiative encourages individuals and companies to offer financial or any other support for families in terms of their education, healthcare, food and basic needs.
