The Express Tribune: PM pushes for extraditing ‘troublemakers’ from UK

April 21: The Express Tribune states that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has sought from the British authorities extradition of individuals facing serious cases involving heinous crimes in Pakistan including members of militant wings of political parties. The move comes amid renewed efforts on the part of top government functionaries to sign an extradition treaty with Britain to allow the speedy exchange of criminals between Pakistan and the United Kingdom of wanted prisoners.
