Pakistani runner-up in Wushu Sanda Tournament

LAHORE: Pakistan’s Maaz Khan, 27, was runner-up in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Wushu Sanda Tournament in Chongqing, China.
During the second round of the match against his Chinese opponent, Khan pulled out with a foot injury, having to settle for the silver medal.
Earlier, Khan defeated Indian Pawan Gupta in the semifinal of the 75-kg category. Pakistani Zahoor Ahmed qualified for the semifinal of the 52-kg category. 
The tournament, which started on Wednesday, will end on Sunday.
