WWE Crown Jewel to take place in Riyadh in October

  • WWE Crown Jewel is a signature event of the Riyadh Season
  • The event will also include the homecoming of Mansoor Al-Shehail, WWE’s first Saudi Arabian Superstar who was born in Riyadh

RIYADH: The WWE Crown Jewel will take place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Oct. 31.
Tickets will become available from Tuesday via www.TicketMX.com, and prices start at SR25 ($7).
WWE Crown Jewel is a signature event of the Riyadh Season and will feature WWE Superstars Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Rey Mysterio along with special appearances by WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
The event will also include the homecoming of Mansoor Al-Shehail, WWE’s first Saudi Arabian Superstar who was born in Riyadh and won the largest Battle Royal Match in WWE history at Super ShowDown in Jeddah in June.
Additional details on the event’s matches and broadcast information will be announced in the coming weeks.

Egyptian envoy meets Saudi foreign minister

  • The foreign minister appreciated the outgoing envoy’s efforts in strengthening the ties between Saudi Arabia and Sudan

RIYADH: Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Farouk Mohammed Tawfik called on Saudi Foreign Minister  Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh on Monday. They reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. They also discussed issues of mutual interest.
The foreign minister also held a separate meeting with Mexican Ambassador-designate Anibal Toledo. He presented a copy of his credentials to Prince Faisal prior to submitting them to King Salman.
Sudanese Ambassador Abdulazim Al-Sadiq Al-Karoori called on Prince Faisal bin Farhan to bid him farewell. The foreign minister appreciated the outgoing envoy’s efforts in strengthening the ties between Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
