LONDON: Saudi Arabia is due to announce an "unprecedented" international sporting event on Thursday, the Ministry of Sport has said.
The under wraps event will take place in 2021 and follows a long list of successful sporting events hosted by the Kingdom for the first time during the last two years.

These include the first edition of the Dakar Rally held in Saudi Arabia in 2020, The Spanish Super Cup 2020, the WWE Super ShowDown 2020, the 2018 Ad Diriyah ePrix and the world’s richest race, the Saudi Cup, that took place at the beginning of this year.
Saudi Arabia is keen to host the largest regional and international sporting events.
