Thorsten Lange is the executive vice president for renewable aviation of Neste Corp. and a member of the Neste Executive Committee.
He joined Neste in Feb. 2020, and he reports to President and CEO Peter Vanacker.

Lange is a highly experienced aviation industry leader. He has outstanding knowledge of the industry, especially in sustainable aviation fuel. Lange also served as Chair of the IATA Fuel Committee. He currently works from the Amsterdam office, the renewable aviation business unit hub.
According to Lange, the aviation industry is at a crossroads, adding that the use of sustainable aviation fuel will play an essential role in supporting the industry’s ongoing efforts to make air transportation fit for the environmental challenges it is facing.
