Eid Al-Adha 2023: Muslim faithful celebrate largest Islamic holiday

Eid Al-Adha, also called the Feast of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Abraham to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God.

During the festival, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal – a goat, sheep, bull or camel – and offer part of the meat to charity.
