Saudi FM discusses Mideast issues with regional counterparts

  • Prince Faisal bin Farhan holds talks with Qatar, UAE, Iran officials

RIYADH: The Kingdom’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has held separate calls with some of his regional counterparts on the crisis in the Middle East, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

Prince Faisal had a phone conversation with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the UAE’s deputy prime minister and foreign affairs minister.

Prince Faisal also spoke with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign affairs minister.

Earlier, Prince Faisal received a call from his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.

The two officials discussed developments following the peace negotiations between Iran and the US, the SPA reported.
