DUBAI: Dubai Basketball secured first place in the ABA League Top 8 stage with a commanding 92-64 victory over Bosna BH Telecom in Sarajevo on Tuesday, locking in pole position ahead of the 2026 playoffs.
The result ensures Dubai will carry home-court advantage into the quarterfinals in May, with the playoff stage set to be played in a best-of-three format favoring the top seed.
Dubai delivered an emphatic 22-2 run early in the first quarter to take control of the contest. Their intensity on both ends of the floor translated into a 28-12 lead by the end of the opening period, before extending the advantage to 46-31 at halftime.
After the break, Dubai maintained their defensive pressure and offensive efficiency throughout the second half. The lead continued to grow steadily, with the visitors closing out a comprehensive 92-64 win.
The performance underlined Dubai’s depth and balance, with six players finishing in double figures.
Dzanan Musa led all scorers with 15 points, while Kenan Kamenjas and Bruno Caboclo added 13 each. Mfiondu Kabengele contributed 12, with Filip Petrusev adding 11 and Aleksa Avramovic chipping in with 10.
