LONDON: A Jordanian field hospital has treated 398,673 Palestinian patients and performed 2,494 surgeries over the course of more than two years in the northern occupied West Bank.

On Tuesday, it organized a blood donation campaign to support Rafidia Government Hospital, aiming to meet the needs of patients and those wounded in the raids by Israeli forces, according to the Petra news agency.

The Jordanian Armed Forces dispatched 10 medical teams to operate in the hospital, which began its operations in late 2023.

The facility includes radiology and sterilization units, a pharmacy, and clinics for pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, dermatology and dentistry, as well as two operating rooms and intensive care units.

The ninth medical team deployed by the Jordanian military returned to Amman in March after treating about 20,600 patients and performing more than 90 major and minor surgical operations.
