JEDDAH: Under the sporting regulations of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, ALTAWKILAT Motorsport has announced the launch of the third edition of the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, the Kingdom’s first FIA-certified national single-seater championship.
The 2026 season will be the championship’s biggest yet, featuring an expanded calendar and a new format that reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in developing national talent and strengthening its position as a global motorsport destination.
The championship will take place from October to December 2026 across six rounds at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and Lusail International Circuit in Qatar, reinforcing the championship’s continued regional expansion and growing presence beyond the Kingdom. The new season will also introduce a new format, including one testing day followed by two days of racing, giving drivers more track time and greater opportunities to develop their skills.
Season 3 of the Aramco F4 Saudi Arabian Championship continues to serve as a strategic platform for preparing the next generation of Saudi and international drivers. The championship provides a professional and safe environment that meets the highest FIA standards, enabling young talents to progress from karting into single-seater racing through a clear development pathway toward Formula 3 and beyond.
The championship will feature up to 20 male and female drivers competing in identical Tatuus T421 – Abarth F4 Gen2 cars, ensuring a level playing field where performance is determined by talent, skill and racecraft.

It provides a professional platform that enables Saudi drivers to gain experience and progress towards the highest levels of international competition. The expansion of the new season reflects the championship’s growing status and the Kingdom’s continued commitment to investing in national capabilities while strengthening its position as one of the world’s leading motorsport destinations.”
He added: “We continue to operate in line with the highest FIA safety and organisational standards to deliver a world-class championship that contributes to the development of national talent and the wider motorsport ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.”

The new season builds on a highly competitive previous edition, where Kit Belofsky of Great Britain claimed the title with Team PEAX, ahead of Adam Al Azhari of the UAE with Team VALVOLINE and Sweden’s Scott Lindblom with Team REDBULL.
Beyond driver development, the championship also plays an important role in building a wider motorsport ecosystem in the Kingdom by investing in Saudi talent across engineering, mechanics, sponsorship, operations, media and marketing, contributing to the growth of the sector and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
