JEDDAH, 3 July 2007 — The Corniche will have an ‘iconic’ business park within about two years. This follows a contract signed between Adeem Alwataniya Company, represented by its Managing Director Majed D. Karim, and AlDar AlKhasa For Urban Development Company, represented by its Managing Director Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Rayes. The deal envisages the development of “The Headquarters Business Park” into an architectural icon, which will stand out as Jeddah’s new landmark.

“Work will commence on the SR800 million project within a month and is set for completion by December 2009,” Rayes told a press conference at the Westin Jeddah Hotel on Sunday night. The project will offer approximately 280 units of office space, although this can change depending on the needs of prospective tenants, he added.

Situated on the picturesque Red Sea coast between the Westin Hotel and the Hilton Hotel, this landmark development is only reflected by its magical execution, blending in naturally with the sharp sun rays hitting the sea shores. “It is a position ever so convenient, halving the way between downtown Jeddah and the airport, needing merely10 minutes to reach either, while being a complete center in providing all the tenants their current daily requirements,” Essam Omar Fakieh, director general of AlDar AlKhasa, said.

“The brilliance in its design serves, as its name suggests, the ultimate luxury and convenience for future business leaders with a unique point of view,” he added. It will be 52 floors high with 68,000 square meter space.

Businessmen and companies can have their choice of condominium space which meets their needs. In addition, “and for the first time in Saudi Arabia,” the new business park offers ‘Sky villas,’ distributed at different levels, two floors each, with a sky garden facing the sea waves, “only adding to the exceptional concept of luxury for business leaders who want nothing less than to stay on top.”

Its luxury is only transcended by its smart design, providing the latest technology in security, surveillance, electrical conservatory infrastructure, Internet networking, etc., assuring only positive outcome from its tenants.

“Luxurious and smart, the new business park includes a business center containing the most advanced devices for data display/communication, in and out of the boardrooms,” Fakieh said.

The tower will also be home to the most elite 5-star restaurants serving the most splendid Arabic and international cuisine in a great ambiance topped only by its impeccable sea view.

The parking lot will hold up to 2,000 vehicles, with three spots per 100 square meter space, claimed to be the highest average of spots per 100 square meter space in the Kingdom so far. “All this space will be monitored under the latest in security surveillance and up to the hour protection, another feature enhancing the perfection in design and consideration,” he added.

The business park will acquire the most sophisticated gym equipment in its spacious health center and also provide the latest techniques in its relaxation via the “revolutionary” power nap rooms.

“The Headquarters Business Park in its concept and execution will revolutionize the construction and architectural world within the region,” he said, adding that it is a promising start for the future of businessmen “who demand nothing less than perfection, and who are always ready to ‘go’ beyond.”
