Alfaisal University and IMA in new partnership deal

Alfaisal University in Riyadh has established a new international partnership with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), a association of accountants and financial professionals.
The university thus becomes one of few in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf region to have an exclusive partnership with IMA and to embed subject matter from IMA’s Certified Management Accountant (CMA) program into its curriculum.
The program offers certification preparatory programs to Alfaisal University students and business professionals in Saudi Arabia. Starting from Feb. 2, Alfaisal University will introduce a CMA program within its campus.
The CMA credential is a most widely recognized international qualification for management accountants.
Its addition to the university’s business courses will be a boost to students, who would like to expand their career potential to work in banks, consulting firms, and government and private organizations. It is also open for accounting and financial professionals interested to enhance their value within the corporate sector.
Daniel W. Lund, dean of the College of Business at Alfaisal University, said, “We are delighted to be a CMA program partner. We are committed to developing the highest quality of international professional education that add value to Alfaisal University students and the Saudi business community.”
“This recognition by IMA tells the business community that Alfaisal University College of Business is professionally relevant, progressive, internationally respected, and offers a wide array of professional opportunities for the students, industry partners, and business professionals,” he added.
