STC: Chance to save on IDD calls

STC has launched the “international control” service which allows landline customers to make international calls at competitive prices.
They need not add the international zero number when using this service.
Customers can subscribe to this service by contacting the customer service representative (907), or by sending a text message containing the code (2300) to (907), or by visiting a sales office.
Customers can recharge the required amount (SR50 or SR100) and then should call 1414 and follow the automatic answering steps, said a press release.
This service includes all landline subscribers.
The balance is to be recharged and it will be added to customers’ monthly bills.
In addition, the balance will still be available for usage. Even if the service is temporarily disconnected, the customer can use it later. The balance validity increases when it is recharged every time.
“There is a critical need to release such a service that enables customers to call the country they want,” according to an STC statement. This allows them complete control over their bills while gaining the best from the landline services domain, it said.
It said customers also would also benefit from high-quality technology.
