The Philippine Embassy rendered consular services to at least 439 Filipinos at the Al-Ahsa Dawah Center in Hofuf in the Eastern Province on Sunday, said Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago.
“On behalf of the Embassy on Wheels (EOW) team, which served the Filipinos, I’d like to express my appreciation for those who allowed us to utilize the Al-Dawah Center and the Filipino community for their cooperation in making this event successful,” he said.
Of the Filipinos served, 395 were for e-Passport renewal, 12 for passport extensions, nine for reports of birth, and 23 for notarial applications.
Meanwhile, he said that the embassy would hold a passport renewal outreach mission among Filipinos (male applicants only) at the Al-Dawah Islamic Center at the Second Industrial City in Riyadh on Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“A maximum of 250 male applicants only will be accommodated on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Contact person is Mr. Noly Dulay, a consular assistant who can be reached at 011-4823816,” the Filipino envoy said.
He added that applicants are advised to bring their original passports and a photocopy of the data page of their passport because there’s no photocopier at the venue.
