Kejriwal: Innocent until proven guilty

I read with great interest the weekly column of Bikram Vohra. However, this is in response to his article “Kejriwal, stop being so infantile” (Jan. 23). The writer par excellence appears to be on an AAP-bashing spree. He certainly is very critical of Kejriwal’s style of politics. I believe this is the real face of politics that is unleashing itself throughout the Middle East and South Asia. I think we better embrace it at the earliest.
Kejriwal and his comrades have done their political homework very well and if they get a little push from great thinkers like Bikram Vohra, they can achieve the goal of corruption-free governance.
We can cite Lalu Prasad Yadav as an example. Despite so much bashing from all quarters, he managed in turning the Indian Railways into a huge success. As an aam aadmi (common man), I request the writer to join hands in the noble cause of eradicating corruption. The panacea for all ills does not lie with political parties like the BJP or Congress but lies with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP is still a novice in the game of politics let us give them a level playing field and see how they perform. Then only we will be in a position to judge the party. — Khushnoor Abbasi, Jeddah
