Photography group conducts workshop on post-processing

A new group of Filipino fashion photographers under the name Riyadh Creative Artists (RCA) for fashion photography recently conducted a post-processing workshop for Editorial and High Fashion photography.
“The RCA, the first of its kind fashion photography in Riyadh aims to be the venue for showcasing the extraordinary talents of OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) in line with high fashion photography and to further hone their skills by conducting orientations and training sessions, ” said Norman Cunanan, head of the group.
More than 60 participants attended the workshop on Friday. According to him, the workshop was a success not only in terms of participation, but also in the knowledge and new techniques acquired by the soon-to-be professional photographers.
Cunanan said that the highlight of the event is the presence of a well-known Filipino photographer, Ino Florencio, whose works have been published in various magazines in the Philippines and also been tremendously acknowledged by online bloggers due to his expertise in this craft.
The first part of the one-day event was a photo-shoot with two stunning Filipino models, Erdine Reselosa and Keycy Manuel, whose photos served as the subject for the Editorial/High Fashion post-processing workshop, which took place in the latter half of the day.
Additionally, the event was supported by AKHRO (AKP-KSA CENTRAL COUNCIL) with Nadzker L. Sahidulla as head of Marshall, FLASH Logistics Specialists, Pepsi and L&M Catering.
“RCA is a group of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) composed of photographers, conceptualists, stylists, makeup artists and models whose talents and skills are being combined into one concept,” Cunanan concluded.
