Samsung claims Galaxy S5 redefines innovation legacy

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has introduced the new Galaxy S5 smartphone in Jeddah.
Samsung stated that it exemplified once more its commitment to people-inspired innovation, offering the features that matter most to consumers along with Samsung Gear Fit and Gear 2 Neo, which are designed to take the freedom, convenience and style of wearable technology to the next level.
The launch proved Samsung’s commitment to focus on innovating, practical and fundamental everyday features with a great camera, the fastest network, dedicated fitness tools and built-in safety and security enhancements to protect consumers.
In 2013, the smart phone market imported nearly 1 billion units achieving this great number with Samsung Electronics being “number one” in the Saudi market. And while 60 percent of consumers chose to purchase smart phones, the Galaxy S series played a major role in the smartphones market share since 2010, the year it was launched.
Global sales of the Galaxy S series totaled 200,000,000 units since its introduction. To keep the leading position, Samsung Electronics focused on people-inspired innovation.
