JCCI plans summer programs

The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry will launch workshops for youth under the title “Summer training program” in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund, the JCCI announced recently in the presence of the business community and private sector officials.
“The aim of launching this summer training program is to work toward helping the youth to live constructive lives and serve their nation better,” Adnan Mandoura, JCCI secretary-general, said. The youth are the country’s wealth so it is important for them to understand their social responsibilities as well as to be involved in worthwhile activities during the long days of summer, he added.
Mandoura stressed the importance of the private sector’s participation in the young people’s training in the summer vacation and providing them with opportunities to invest their time in learning something useful.
He also said that the JCCI board of directors had extended the concept of social responsibility and planned to promote the establishment of different programs for the youth with the strategic partnership of the JCCI, the Human Resources Development Fund and private sector to enhance the role of youth in the development of the country.
