Christofle unveils silverware collection for Ramadan

The House of Christofle, a major French House in innovative luxury silverware, adds a touch of elegance to the art of hospitality with the launching in the Middle East of a collection of silver plates designed exclusively for Ramadan.
During the holy month, family members and friends enjoy getting together. In line with this spirit, Christofle has launched a collection of plates in a unique version exclusively designed for the Middle East region.
The tradition of using plates became part of the art of hospitality in the 19th century. Since that time, the House of Christofle has integrated the plates in all its collections.
On the top surface of these plates, Christofle artists have skillfully engraved landscapes and scenes of everyday life, in addition to a variety of decorative paintings over 170 years of creative history.
On the occasion of Ramadan, the House of Christofle has redesigned a landmark plate that was first created in 1860 and displayed during the Great Exhibition in London. The modern Hellenistic design engraved on the original plate, was reinvented to decorate the Malmaison plate famous for its 19th century classical style.
Furthermore, the Malmaison plate is considered as the most popular and sought-after model in the region, thanks to its classical design adorned with Palm fronds and water Lilly soft leaves — that are engraved on the extremities of the two grabs.
Besides, this exceptional and limited-edition plate was purposely created to become the most wonderful gift for Eid, and was designed to form an ideal decorative work of art in the middle of Ramadan banquets.
This edition is limited to 280 pieces only, and exclusively designed for the Middle East region.
The collection is available at Christofle showroom in Dubai Mall and at Tanagra showrooms in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
