Israel exposed

This is with reference to the report “Netanyahu’s last ploy: No Palestine!” (March 18). There was no need for him to explicitly express his intentions regarding an independent state for Palestinians. It is said: Action speaks louder than words.
We never believed that Israelis ever wanted peace with the Palestinians or their other Arab neighbors. It is high time the world realized the fake nature of the so-called peace talks. As a matter of fact, the international community should move against Israel, as its intentions are now clear. Israel participates in the US-sponsored peace talks only to dupe the world into believing that it also wants peace.
Israel’s major benefactors should take Netanyahu’s statement seriously. Now they don’t have any excuse to continue with their unflinching support to the Zionist state. — P.K. Raoof, Jeddah
