Prince Mamdouh banned from stadiums for a year

Prince Mamdouh bin Abdul Rahman has been banned from entering sports stadiums in the Kingdom for a year as per a decision by Prince Abdullah bin Musaed, head of the Youth Welfare Presidency.
The ban follows a decree issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman against Prince Mamdouh, preventing him from taking part in sports activities and speaking to the media for making a racist statement.
Prince Mamdouh had reportedly rebuked Adnan Jestiniya, a sports writer, during a talk show on Saudi Television.
“Prince Mamdouh will be banned from entering Youth Welfare Presidency stadiums for a year,” a statement issued by the presidency said.
Saudi bloggers welcomed the decision and called for strict measures to ensure law and order during football matches between leading clubs in the Kingdom.
“We are now in the golden era of King Salman. He will not tolerate those who make racist statements,” said one blogger.
“Strict action should be taken against club presidents, honorary members, administrators and media persons when they violate the law,” said another blogger.
“These kinds of strict punishment are needed to stop growing racism in our stadiums,” said Abdullah Abu Mohammed.
