Riyadh police recover kidnapped toddler, arrest suspect

JEDDAH: Two-year-old Jouri Al Khalidi, who was kidnapped 10 days ago from a hospital in Riyadh has been found, an online news site said on Tuesday, quoting an uncle of the victim.
Sabq.org said police found the child in an apartment and have arrested at least one person. The child has been reunited with her mother.
Earlier reports said Juri was kidnapped inside a clinic on Riyadh’s busy Khurais Road on Nov. 20, 2015 when her father left the clinic to buy something from a nearby shop while her mother was being treated inside. When the father came back, he found his daughter missing.
A woman was quoted as saying she noticed an unidentified man come into the clinic, played with the girl for some time and then left with her. She said she thought the man was a relative of the father.
The child's family had offered a SR1 million reward to anyone who could provide information that could lead to the whereabouts of the child.
